This movie was hundreds of miles beyond better from the original film. The issue with this version of the Lion King is the lack of real violence. It needs blood, guts, and gore. It needs to show the real jungle and not some candy version of life. Drop the tired music, because it's old and lacking. If you're going to remake something from animation to realism, then push the realism. I'd go see this, but bring the barf bag for the music and the sugar coating. It's too much sugar and not enough substance. Though it's miles beyond better from the original.
