I love a good monster movie, creature feature....whatever you want to call it. To me nothing beats a good ol creepy scary crtter! An there hasn't been a good 8 legged freak movie out since ..well " 8 legged freaks" and even that one was played for laughs bit did feature scarlette Johanson in a towel and a bra So it will always have a warm place in my...heart. But now...here comes STING :THE Rapodly Growing Intelligent SPIDER FROM OUTER SPACE.! Seriously!? What could be cheesier than that? Throw in some likable characters and a few pets to get knocked off trspped in a low income tower and wheeeew baby ee got a fun 89 minutes ahead...is it ground breaking awe inspiring and original..? Not even close...is it packed with creepy crawly, whats that shadow on the ceiling. As your watching it moments ! Damn right it is... now this is a fairly kid friendly introduction to horror 101 movie...so no it's not terribly dark depressing and absolutly suicide inspring as the younger horror come lately seem to...what's the word??...enjoy?!. But it is a great popcorn ride that'll keep most horror junkies smiling throughout...even if it's just because your watching a spider from outer space devour poor people.. thats about its for the mssage of the movie....poor people are either food or they stand up and grab a torch and a puch fork and storm the slumlofs castle.. no woke agenda... nope..just a good ol fashioned wait ya better look in your popcorn bucket before you stick your hand there jumpy tingly creepy creature feature.... abd for 90 minutes....all is right with my world...more monsters please!
