This game is in my opinion is worth a 4.5 but I have to round down to a 4 for various reasons. I do have a personal bias for Connor as I enjoy him as a character. I believe he is more of a stoic as his backstory (although similar as it is to Ezio) has much more nuance and conflict due to his circumstance in the revolutionary war as well as his relationship with his father Haythem. Also you have to admit the combat is badass and makes you feel like a one man army, but this takes away from the Assassin element, and even I cannot accept how bland the traversal is at times. Lastly some of the battles between the red coats and the patriots were REALLY lacking and one dimensional. This game is by no means bad in my eyes. But there were very important attributes missing that could have made this game incredible.

This game was HIGHLY anticipated for me as a Spiderman fan, and with all the hype surrounding this game I must say it certainly met my expectations. First let me be clear that this game is not perfect due to certain flaws in the story, minor glitches during beginning gameplay and repetition in boss battles. HOWEVER… the overall combat, travel capabilities and characters/story that I do enjoy overall help me oversee the flaws and enjoy this game overall while appreciating Miles and Peter as great Spider-Men in their hero arc’s as they both have stories I enjoy. Overall I give this game a 9.2 out of ten and I’m exited to see where the story goes in the guaranteed trilogy.

I've been excited for this game since GoW 2018. The combat, story and music make this game an amazing experience despite some of the minor flaws it possesses. This is not like the original trilogy and Santa Monica takes pride in making this sequel new but familiar to a whole new level, which I appreciate. It shows growth in both Kratos and Atreus in a story that makes us want to care for them while being a part of the grandiose final battle against Odin/Thor which makes this game well worth its price. Also as a PSA for the "Hardcore" gamer fans who either dislike the changes without merit or reason, or hate the game because it's too "movie-like" stop being picky. find another game to enjoy and move on.
