Until I found this book, my 10 year old daughter had little interest in reading.
She has not put this book down! Choosing to read over watching tv, which is unheard of. Asking to stay up late - to read!! I have read parts of this with her and, I must say, Iโm so impressed at how the author has captured the nuances of growing up now, and how it differs to the 80s. She has considered all things I had forgotten about this awkward stage in childhood. The author is clearly a very clever woman with a great sense of humour! Write more please ๐
