I have only watched the first episode of Season 3, but it was so bad, I might quit there. While the cast and the ideas discussed are interesting and intriguing, their execution was abysmal. We all have enough experience with near-Earth space stories that a few basic rules of science should be clear to everyone. One is that light and radio signals do not move instantaneously through space. A two-way conversation or transmission between Earth and the moon will always include a three second delay with each turnaround, and between Earth and Mars the delay is measured in minutes. There was a brief indication that For All Mankind intends to ignore this, making all true fans of science and science fiction cringe. But more blatant was the episode's treatment of the way the spinning space station simulates gravity. The faster it spins, the greater the feeling of gravity inside the wheel. But as the station begins spinning out of control, the people on board, many of whom are experienced astronauts, don't even notice until gravity is increased by almost 80%, when suddenly people start falling down and dropping things. There's no excuse for that kind of disregard of basic science, and it's quite offensive to many viewers.
