This film should not just be classified as a sci-fi flick, but as a lesson in what it means to be human. Without even including Hans zimmer's classic soundtrack that accompanies this masterpiece, the human story in this movie is palpable. Our desperately inadequate struggle to discover ourselves amidst the chaos of life. Our desire to reach out for those things that demand more than we have within us but yet despite the limitations we have, we push on regardless of the consequences. Coopers deep sense of failure or at least his ever present feelings that he never quite made it earlier in his life drive him to make the ultimate decision to leave his family behind justifying his choice on the future of humanity. And then finding out it was a lie. This epic story is rich in emotion and that alone is worth the stars I've given it. But when you add the awesome music of Zimmer and the brilliant acting from McConaughey and Caine..well, what more do I need to say, except Whens part two coming out???

Not what I had envisioned..if you've not seen it...don't waste your time.
