Moana 2 was snoozable and honestly one of the worst modern day disney movies. Moana 2 had so much forced plot and dismissable characters and monsters. It's a kids movie, and the entire time it is very dark and sad, and Maui is very negative the entire movie, not very good for children. Little to no comedy, I laughed once. We were introduced to a bat lady who needed Moana to free her curse, then when she did break it, she was never to be seen again in the movie. There was no main villain in this movie, we thought it was the bat lady but it wasn't, it just felt like a pointless adventure; especially since she sacrificed her life and Mauis life just to raise an island. In the first one, she had to go on an adventure to save her dying island, but this one just felt uneccesary. Lastly, Moana 2 just did not have personality. It referenced Moana 1 multiple times, at the end even having one of those songs. Maui does his shark head thing, HayHay screams, Maui saying "boat snack", it just honestly had no personality, and no new characters that were worth noting.
