These 2 stars are mostly for the animation. If they had this much money for the original the show would have been that much better. But nocturne is disappointing me faster and faster each episode. To go along with its fast paced story that seems rushed and thrown together. As a black man i can say, this show is trying too hard to be inclusive and It's annoying af. Coupled with a rounded scoop of feminism and "girl boss". I respected and loved all the female characters from the first series. Sypha and the vampire sisters earned their way in the world.. But these female lead antagonist and protagonist have nothing about them that makes you respect them. And why is the black vampire lady hair dyed pink? Was hair color a thing In the the 1700s? The native american vampire is cool but I'm struggling to understand his rise to power. Unlike issac, who was working for dracula. Not to mention this belmont character is a pussy and weak as hell compared to Trevor. The show has some good ideas, but it feels like they are trying to do too much. Ima finish it but as of episode 3 I'm not happy at all. Buts it's visually stimulating enough for me to finish it out.
