I just couldn't get past the writer performing as himself. Donny Dunn is in his 20s, yet the actor looks to be at least 37. I needed to see a much younger face on a very niave character. And he's living with his ex-girlfriend's mother. Why? He has 2 living parents who are incredibly supportive. Hard to imagine how such kind parents instilled no sense of boundaries in their kid.

I was very intrigued by the first 4 episodes. Those episodes had some value as they presented a story of a Black family being ostracized and abused, and I felt empathy for them. The supernatural element was compelling. But then, by episode 5, the show just descended into violence porn. It completely lost any redeeming value. I am sorry I watched it.
