I bought this bought at a scholastic book fair in an elementary school (K-6 grades)for my 10 yr old daughter. The main character is attracted to females, which is fine, but I would rather teach my daughter about LBGQT myself than have her read about it when she is 10 years old. Plus it’s not mentioned on the back cover summary so no parent would know that this book mentions girls being attracted to girls. I was not prepared to address the topic when my daughter asked about it. My daughter ended up being bored with the book anyway and never finished it.
