Despite the glaring background story that uses Iblis as the main character, portraying an angel such as Izrael as a wicked character, romanticizing Iblis like the Westerners did with Dracula & vampires, such a boring cliche, the storyline is actually pretty good.
Let's focus on the good thing here:
1) Psychopath can actually be controlled, perhaps?
2) Every deal u made with Iblis actually has a price, this is very true.
3) CGI in these dramas, cinematographic, wardrobe choices r superb, Song Hye Kyo is very pretty in this one.
The very bad thing:
1) Iblis should not be romanticised, not even in drama, well, I guess Korean doesn't really have religion.
2) When I watched the trailer, I thought it would be a spin-off from Aladdin, lahh just why does the writer need to use Iblis as the character, if the writer truly understands what Iblis, angels and eternity meant to Muslims, he wouldn't make fun of it.
3) Netflix classify this drama as rom-com, but the comedy does not deliver in this one. I'm not a fan of slapstick comedy, though, thus that's probably why.
