I'm invested and want to know what happens, but there are some issues with the writing that keep bothering me as I watch it. Like some of the writers didn't do proper research about the roles these characters are supposed to have. That's not how witness protection would work at all, an ex serial rpist would be on a list and everyone at his job would already know what he'd done, so the mom couldn't threaten to out him like she did, and I highly doubt that multiple young teenage girls would repeatedly follow this one woman home. I want to like it because I love the cast, but these frustrations make that difficult.
