Listen, I'm someone who cries during commercials. So for me to say that this movie evoked zero emotions in me, might tell you a lot about it. Right from the opening scene there's no rhyme or reason for anything that happens on the screen? The whole part of "having waited for you for five years" makes no sense. He looked at her through a pair of binoculars, how does he have her pictures? Is this some high-tech binoculars that also takes pictures? Then the whole kidnapping things and forcing the Stockholm Syndrome to justify the romance. The "teasing" that some of the reviewers are talking about is literally something out of a teenage boy's wet dream, and is laughable for adults to even contemplate. The European rich guy meets fiesty woman is a trope that's been tried and tested in so many ways by the writers of the Modern series of Mills and Boon that watching it on screen seems beyond ridiculous. The music is okayish, but the acting? Urgh!! The only reason to even look at your screen is the male lead, the female lead just pouts and annoyingly simpers throughout the film. The ending comes as a major relief.
