A friend once described Xyllomer as a brilliant game ruined by a terrible player base. I wish I could disagree, but I can’t. Read the old reviews on sites like Mudlist. They will talk about transparent, obvious bullying by the players, continuous harassment, an administration that allows many to get away with it, and role playing that consists of little more than saying “Wanna hunt?” instead of “Wanna get some xp?” Not much has changed. In fact, the normal, decent people have long ago been driven away. The few who remain are the worst of the worst. It deserves the nearly unanimous terrible reviews it has been given over the years. And it shows no indication of wanting to change. Avoid like the plague.
