I loved the movie and really hope that the easter egg at the end signifies the start to an entirely new Ghostbusters franchise. With that in mind, there were some discrepancies that I noticed. Ray, when on the phone with Phoebe, stated the old firehouse was "A Starbucks now." However in that last scene after the credits, Winston pulls Ecto-1 into the old firehouse. When Egon died, why didn't Janine call the guys to let them know? And why did she look so surprised when after having spoken with Calli on the phone, she and her family are now in the house? There is no S at the end of Revelation, and Ray had that tattooed on his arm, as well as it being painted in front of the farm. Also, in the scene when Ecto-1 is speeding to the old mine, the cars lights and siren are on, then off, then everything is back on again as they drive over the bridge. Inconsistency in the final edit? Yes, I'm a nerd. And as I stated, I loved the movie overall and am really hoping to see some new spinoffs in the same Ghostbusters vein. The next generation, as it were.
