This movie was just ok. The story line kept Superman very un-super for most of the movie. We had no idea why Lex was after him until the end of the movie and not once did we see Clark Kent turn into Superman. How can that be? That should be in every Superman movie.

I was looking forward to seeing this movie because the broadway version is so good. However, after seeing the movie the Broadway version is so much better. Even with all the special effects the movie has, it didn’t capture the emotion of the characters. There was one scene where Elphaba dances on her own and that did, but that was 1 scene out of an entire movie. To me none of the lead actors looked the age they were supposed to be. Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo were very good but somehow they’re emotion didn’t come through. Even though the singing was “live” it was still auto-tuned which takes away the emotion. Cynthia Erivo is supposed to be a younger version of the wicked witch but didn’t look anything like her. Though Jonathan Bailey is very talented there was no chemistry between he and Glinda and Elphaba. All in all in my opinion it wasn’t bad at all but because of the broadway show version it didn’t come close.

I thought it was just ok all around. How come Wakanda is so easily entered - isn’t it supposed to have a fierce force field around it that no one can penetrate? The acting was good just thought the story line could have been better.
