My son watched this when it originally aired. Since I, too, love historical fiction, both reading it and watching it, I watched a few episodes with him. I always meant to go back and watch it from the beginning, but never did. A couple of weeks ago, I finally did just that. Now I cannot stop watching it. The production is amazing as are the actors. It was cast perfectly. And it keeps you guessing. I would recommend it to anyone who asks about what to watch.
