Fun movie that I’ve been looking forward to for years

While it was visually spectacular this movie had so many plot holes and idiotic moments that I just couldn’t like it. Also the Anti-American sentiment was STRONG. Depicting Asians fighting against the US was a clear stab at current relations and makes me wonder if a certain Asian nation not terribly friendly to the US had a hand in making the film. Once again, almost see-through with plot holes, despite that fact that many of them could have been fixed by simply explaining them a little bit more. In the end I was left lost and feeling frustrated. The only reason I give this movie 2 stars instead of 1 are the fantastic effects. This movie deserves an Oscar for the effects.

Honestly was pleasantly surprised. Worth a watch.
