This series is the only reason I'd ever consider finishing the movie franchise as a whole. The series has positively shifted my impression of the franchise.

the main character is absolutely rancid.

Possibly one of the BEST films you can watch on Valentine's Day. It's cinematically forward while calling upon retro references to deliver exactly what is needed in this day and age. I left the theater wanting to live in the universe this movie is set in as it's THAT'S incredible cinematically. I can't remember the last time I finished a film this colorful and funny and wondered, "What's next?" Thank you to everyone involved with this masterpiece as the direction, acting, and writing truly shined in the current cinematic world of gray.

Incredibly well thought out story that incorporates ongoing conspiracy theories, mystery, and an emphasis on the downside of character underestimation in order to tell the story of a guy who is trying to understand who he is, and why he's here. A solid cast and twists and humour that delivers tastefully.

My favorite thing about this movie is that it doesn't take itself too seriously. It recognizes it's a comedy and delivers in that aspect. It's hard to choose my favorite part, but I loved that the movie didn't seem like the typical "travel brochure" you get when movies focus on being abroad. I also loved the chemistry the actresses had and even believed they could be genuine friends IRL. I feel a lot of negative reviews revolve around 2 things: women "can't" be funny and "can't" take back their sexual autonomy. Watch this movie and see how wrong those narratives are. I will be watching it again (desperately need a sequel)!
