I agree with the other reviews. This book is poorly written. There are two non-intersecting stories. The Peter Decker murder story wanders aimlessly with too many pages dedicated to the characters discussing the theory of the case. The other story involves Chris Donati, who is a psychopathic rapist, yet he is treated with sympathy. Way too much description of sexual acts.
