I realize this game wasnโt made by a big company with deep pockets, so I was willing to look past a lot of things; such as building interiors being copy/paste with new hues and decor, or the fact that most NPCs and merchants have the same skins but have different facial hair or head wear to cover up the fact. But for the most part, I am deeply invested in the game. Most of the bad reviews here never even got past the prologue. They gave up because they struggled to get past the first creature fight. Itโs rather amusing reading all the whining. But if you pay attention to the story, it gets interesting. People want to complain about running everywhere but I felt like that in The Witcher and that game was fun too. The combat is rather bland, with one attack, followed by a special attack that requires something called โFuryโ. The guns are mapped to the D-pad button of your choice and are auto aimed to whatever is in front of you. Despite what others said, I enjoyed having to spend points to jump/climb over obstacles, or to use lock picking or science. It made it interesting because itโs not something every other game does. You can climb a ledge, pick the lock, or blow up the wall, in order to get into a building. All depends on how you spent your points. The voice acting is great in this game. So yeah, to sum it all up, I love this game. I would have given it 5 stars but the problems I mentioned earlier are there nonetheless. But if youโre a die hard RPG fan like me, you should really give it a shot and learn to lower your expectations and enjoy the details.
