Positive Points: I’ve been playing for several hours now, and I must say, the game is great! It’s probably a 7/10 or 8/10. There’s a lot of overreactions over the internet. This was the same during the release of Legends Arceus, and Pokémon Legends Arceus is an incredible Pokémon game. I thoroughly enjoyed playing it. One of my favorite Pokémon games is Pokémon Legends: Arceus, and I still believe Arceus surpasses ZA in several aspects, however Pokémon ZA is a step forward. The internal areas are well-designed and aesthetically pleasing. All Pokémon are beautiful, and the characters are well-designed. The gameplay feels fresh for the franchise, and the stealth mode, battles, missions, and more are genuinely enjoyable. The story is also great, though not exceptional. I thoroughly enjoyed playing this game much more than Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Now, let’s address the negative points: The city is great, and the graphics are generally ok, except for the external building areas - it looks like card boxes designed by a 10 yo kid. The grass texture is particularly disappointing, like water textures as well (but it’s better than Arceus and Scarlett and Violet) This game desperately needs voice acting. It could be similar to Zelda, with a few voice acting scenes. This would significantly enhance the game. The price is high, almost $70, which is excessive considering the investment made in the game. Overall, I believe this is a great experience. However, you shouldn’t expect it to have the graphics of a GTA VI, monster hunter, or anything out of this world. It’s Pokémon, after all. I think it’s a step forward, albeit slow. I hope the Pokémon company and Game Freak take the fans’ feedback into account for future games.
