I really loved this movie. My family and I watched it together. Yes, it had parts that were silly, but the message was clear. Ultimately it was about culture and family. My family moved to Hawaii to try and immerse ourselves in exactly what they were depicting. A sense of true family, respect and culture. Like the movie, we don't always get it right, but we apologize and try harder. I think that is what more people need, love for one another, a sense of respect, and to be grateful for family.
