Is Sanju worth a watch? Well I would say The proof of the pudding is in eating it. And I guess that says it all. Watch it as it manages to keep you Engrossed and engaged most of the time and the deft direction of the master craftsmen RKH is apparent. It has emotional appeal, interesting content and most of all a larger than life hero protagonist played exceptionally well by the talented Ranbir Kapoor very well supported by Paresh Rawal and the fresh new rising star Vicky Kaushal (of Raazi fame) . It’s a biopic with a viewpoint and I guess if you’re not a Dutt fan you’ll poke holes in it , but it pulls at the heartstrings without being maudlin. Go to see it to experience the unbelievable journey about victory against all odds and a somewhat honest revelation to restore lost dignity and pride. I would say that’s what’s most commendable.4/5
