This movie bored me from the get-go. Perhaps that's because this isn't my favourite genre? Or maybe because it was cliched and too predictable. I'd give commendations for the magic aspect of it, but I really don't see how it made any sense. Like, what does time-travelling yeaaaars into the future and meeting some woman (whom you "fall in love with" after about five days) make sense or tie into the quest/task of being a knight?
The storyline was iffy. The acting felt bland and superficial at times, and to be honest, there was no real reason to root for this couple. There wasn't a main conflict (correct me if I'm wrong), and some scenes felt choppy and irrelevant, for example, that student that kept popping up randomly. What was the relevance? Why did the two fall in love? Besides the cinematography and setting (it had some really good settings and decoration), I just can't seem to find anything memorable or outstanding about this one.
I wish I could take back the 1hr+ of watching this, and see something else...rewatch the whole season of Atypical or 13RW, even.
As for a rating, I'm by no means a professional, but I'd give it a 4/10 stars. Would not recommend.
