Having thoroughly enjoyed Pushpa 1, I was eager to watch Pushpa 2 on Netflix. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a major letdown. The tightly woven storyline of the first part is nowhere to be found here. Instead, we get a film that feels unnecessarily stretched with forced story connections, over-the-top stunts that add little value, and an excessive runtime that tests patience.
The romance subplot feels completely unnecessary, serving no real purpose other than to drag the movie further. What made Pushpa 1 engaging was its gripping narrative and strong character development, but Pushpa 2 fails to capture that essence. It tries too hard to impress with action sequences that feel repetitive and out of place.
Overall, Pushpa 2 was a frustrating watch and a poor use of entertainment time. A classic example of how to mess up a promising franchise.
