I have agree with the other 1 star-ers that the acting in this series is awful. If I hadn't read the book series, I would have never been able to follow this story. I found myself questioning certain scenes and saying, "Is that the way it happened in the book?". I watched an interview with Rick Riordan and heard him say that he wanted to make a series that was more true to the book, but then he casts Annabeth as a black girl. The characters did not capture the essence of the characters as they are written in the book. And the book is so superbly written. I can envision the scene in my head as I am reading the chapters. But the storyline and acting are horrible. Not sure who is worse, Zeus or Chiron. And don't even get me started on Gabe! I'm so disappointed. The characters from the movies are 100x better than the actors in the series. Sorry, total bust for me.
