OUTSTANDING visuals. Arson M. carries the unflappable movie Pike persona as if it was the same actor. Perfection. Rebecca R. plays very well the supporting “#1” role. Ethan Peck has a LONG life ahead of him to replace Leonard Nimoy’s ‘Spock.’ They couldn’t have selected a better actor for the role. The only weak character where CBS blatantly caved to the nonsensical ‘wokeness’ being forced on us these days is Melissa Navia playing Ortega. Dunno what pronoun it’s trying to be but needs to go. No gratuitous low-brow profanity that the mentally weak writers of almost EVERY other series default to to compensate for lack of real creativity. No nudity used like bad language described above; can’t fill the time with a real story, give’em sex. It’s actually difficult to believe this quality of programming came out ‘today.’ Thank you, CBS.
