Wow...didn't quite know what to expect when I started this last night. The way it was filmed started to bother me right out of the gate. A 'bonding' moment of father and son heading to infested mainland to learn how to 'zombie hunt.' Just bored me and it got worse after this in my opinion. I won't even get into the rest of the movie, it was simply a waste of my time.

22 days after launch, 3 "hot fixes" later, this title is STILL a mess! Some users I've seen have had perhaps more success I'm guessing, then again they have some pretty powerful PCs that might be able to handle this..manually remove bad files, etc. Is this title good on XBox Series X, (or an Series S console??) no...not even close and probably should have been delayed for at least another 6-8 months! I think I had my best experience running this title a few days after it launched - after the disaster of day one "Queue" problems and before the first hot fix. So far, I have MANY of my planes not working...or they work and fail out of the blue, no controls. Terrain is a big problem, pixelated...not rendering. Example: my experience in flying around Washington DC is almost laughable. The White House and Capitol will not render, or missing textures giving a pink checkerboard pattern, not to mention the entire town is filled with palm trees. Um, there are NO palm trees in DC! Map screen / globe is a disaster that will crash the SIM many times. Career mode, it's not possible. It goes on and on. NOW...after the much larger "hot fix" released around 4-5pm ET Dec 10, it fixed SOME issues, but created more incredibly unstable bugs! Note - once you update the Sim...you will see a "14%" load screen that appears to be stuck, it's not...just wait 5-6 min. and it will proceed. - This also appears every time you load up the sim, once a very fast loading process is now 3X+ longer. Also after the Update, more add ons have been removed, including MS/Asobo's Ford Tri-Motor...which they gave us back just last week! Other 3rd party add-ons are still totally disabled. Once you're in, it's a gamble. I admit I did have a few good flights last night, over 1 hour and I felt pretty good - when this Sim works, some of the scenery, the skies do look incredible, but sadly "when it works" is rare. But once flight was over and chose to try another location, the "Globe/Map" screen was blurred out, no cursor. Picking a location just didn't work, it would kick you back to the Map screen. Eventually the sim froze up.  This happened about 5 times before I simply turned it off. This also did not fix the mouse issue on XBox, still doesnt work. Career mode doesn't work! The whole "cloud streaming" this massive title was clearly a bad mistake! So yes, there are still a ton of problems with this title, making it unplayable...it does not work...it's NOT ready for the consoles! If you are thinking about getting this for XBox, I would seriously reconsider and wait at the very least 6+ months! If you have GamePass...try it, if it doesn't work..no harm, no money lost. Just uninstall. (which is probably what I should have done!)   I will TRY to uninstall this 2024 title and reinstall. I have no idea if this will be a fix, maybe the Sim will work better (or worse?)...or it will change absolutely nothing.

Yep, as usual with the ABC network....they promote a show like this for months and months, almost stop, going back to late April. It looked dumb and honestly it was actually worse than that, if that was possible! Wow, save your time, DVR space, it's a painfully awful show that I expect will get cancelled in 3, maybe 4 weeks max.
