I stopped watching at a certain scene because it scared me to my core... They could've just shown the brief moment of a show of an alien for a bunch of people being ruined, but they had to show... the inside...
I don't want to spoil anything but I'm going to, so click off now if you have a strong gut... but stay, if you don't want to see what it's like to be in one.
As you might've guessed from my wordplay... the "Saucer" eats people in one scene... all who were there expecting a horse to run off into some sort of spacecraft "watching" us, only to be sucked into it... Men, Women, Children, Elderly, even two survivors of an outburst from a trained chimp they used to work with!
I know, I know, it's just a movie... but my fear of being eaten, and seeing people being eaten, is irrationally powerful... It made my skin crawl, my blood feel wrong, and my bones feel like shrapnel - my body wanted to reject itself. I'm 21 years old and I still have to cover my eyes in the scene of War of Worlds where people are being eaten by the tripod machines. I just watched Nope up to this scene with my parents, and I'm still shaking.
