Amazing show a total masterpiece, loved the sets, the colours, the Urdu Adab, the shayari, the courtesans, the jewellery, the dresses, everything was topnotch world class , it was a great show. all the actors were brilliant. Manisha Korala nailed it, she was amazing, Sonakshi was very fine in her performance, Loved loved Aditi Rao hyderi Sharmin Segal 's innocence was wonderful, Loved the lovestory of Alam and Tajdar. Sanjeeda and Richa Chadha was also too good. Hats off to Sanjay Leela Bhansali for this outstanding masterpiece. Full justice to Heeramandi.

I had very high expectations from this movie, but it's turns out to be the exact opposite, this movie was not at all entertaining, the whole point of this movie was not understandable, if you are talking about arranged marriage then you should show a good representation of arranged marriage, then you should promote it instead of in the ending claim that love is beyond everything. First of all if you are showing a Pakistani moderate Muslim man who believes in his culture then why in the end you have to show that he is back with his same British friend, it was a totally confused film, just like the extremely confused Zoe's character, didn't understand the whole point of making this film. It was all about conversations on arranged marriage and then in the end totally negating the idea that rranged marriages are successful which they are in our subcontinent, completely lacked entertainment value too. Very weak dialogues, only loved Emma Thompson in the film, who completely carried the Pakistani culture.
