I’ve been a fan of all the mafia games, and although the storyline in 3 wasn’t directly mafia related, I did like the real open world aspect over the previous 2 linear models. I am so disappointed with mafia the old country as it’s gone back to linear. Why bother creating so much detail and landscape that’s restricted to a thin story line, just make a movie if you don’t want the user to explore. I’ll admit it does look great but so do all other games of late. Conclusion: a pretty game with a leash around the entire user interface, restrictive plot and gameplay, please don’t make 5th instalment unless you go for open world!
