I am a RN and the COVID vaccine up here in northern WI. has been many people feeling of generalized body aches, N/V/D. for 1 day, for some 2 days. The residents in Long Term Care facilities have been these above symptoms but a little more severe with low grade temps. Most said these symptoms were not severe, but there have some reporting the symptoms were severe. Problem is many of the people are coming into the the ER/Urgent care because they are afraid that they got the virus and it takes a lot to convince them that it is just the side effect and it will be for a very short time. The LTCFs (nsg, homes, Assisted Livings etc...) say that it caught them off card with the above symptoms, resulting in calling extra staff to help due to so many had the N/V/D for at least 12 hours. I just had some nausea and a little bit of body aches. Sad thing is, in small town rural northern WI. the news spreads fast, especially with the elderly and they are now refusing to get the vaccine.
