So far their are big holes in the story! For instants the swords are in the apartment, in the original story Ted has them on the fire place at his home. Second all these guys just became friends like that after meeting in a Uber? 3rd in the 5th episode the adopted sister says to her brother “you don’t even know my last name” yet he remembers her coming home from Vietnam as a baby? Don’t you think he’d know that by now since they grew up together. 4th this British guy just gives up his wealth for a girl like that? No back story he’s just in it! There are plenty more where that came from. Yes it’s different from how I met your mother but not having the original writers at least help out is a huge mistake for on this reboot.
