To put it simply Andor is the Game of thrones caliber show that Star Wars was missing. It’s more than Jedi and lightsabers, the force and the sith. It shows us real themes like oppression, totalitarianism and facism affect your everyday average citizen. How the empire has come to different planets to extract their resources without caring for the consequences on its citizens. The acting is Oscar level quality, the writing is top notch. I can’t believe this is coming out Star Wars let alone Disney. It has much mature and darker theme. If you only care about glowing sticks and pew pew battles then this show is not for you. But if you’re a true Star Wars fan and want to see why the empire is oppressive, why the need for a rebellion is necessary, and how both sides sometimes blur the lines of what is moral and not for their own agenda, then this is the show you must watch.
