mediocre, first book is okay but the second book immediately undoes everything the first set up. female character starts strong (almost tastelessly so) but then ends up weak and pathetic. characters established in the first book get completely retconned to be antagonists in the second. or they get retconned just to fill a different position and make a new plot. the whole plot and all the tribulations and characters of the first book end up meaning absolutely nothing by chapter 3 of book 2. annoying harem and annoying main character and side characters post book 1 also, wouldn't recommend.
