I can’t even begin to explain the feelings I have for this book. I cried and I laughed. I felt anger, frustration, disgust, joy, thankfulness, and jealousy of a love such as Jack and Rochelle’s. I have read many books, fiction and non-fiction, that tell stories of those who went through this period in time. None, including famous ones such as The Hiding Place or The Diary of Anne Frank, touched me like this one. If you never read another book regarding the Holocaust, read this one!
