Incredible work of art. It’s a phenomenal album and a huge testament to her talent. A lot of reviews questioning its lack of “hits” of course there isn’t the - Cruel Summers or Shake It Off radio hits. Perhaps you shouldn’t be so ignorant and unintelligent and attempt to understand the depths of what she is trying to speak about? That is the whole point - she has evolved and isn’t in that place of her life anymore of writing another bop. She has proved to the world time and time again her undeniable talent. She doesn’t need to conform now shes garnered the respect and accolades. It’s poetic, genuine and honest. The whole point of art is to be able to release an honest body of work that feels true and this is clearly how she was feeling. I’ve never been a huge fan but always admired her and have a lot of respect for her to be this honest and release something that feels incredibly unfiltered with not a care for any feedback from people she doesn’t care to receive it from. Ballsy move.
