I came to watch this anime because I was bored one day and I was lead to believe through positive reviews that it would at least be an okay watch....Boy, I was completley wrong. So here is an honest review coming from an avid anime and movie watcher. This first thing I noticed at the beginning is that the animation is a little choppy along with the audio. All around seems like it's low quality but it was made in 2018 so that lead me to believe that it might have been an artistic or financial choice. That was fine though, I'm used to watching older anime and usually it's around the same quality. The next thing that I noticed right away is their push to show the atmosphere as being dark and angsty. Only the push is so prevalent throughout the anime that it loses its appeal. The show just takes itself too seriously. And the characters? Oh God the characters.... First of all, the main protagonist seems to get herself into a lot of situations that render her helpless and allow the main love interest to save her every time. Which is not the worst thing only the scenarios are completely ridiculous. They also completely rush the plot to the point that it comes off as the lowest form of a Wattpad fanfiction. In summary this show is garbage, there are truly no redeeming factors. I only got to the third episode before deciding to drop it completely when it became too predictable. If you're not too serious about the anime you consume or if you are looking for every thing you should not do in writing- this anime is for you. Note that I am also commenting on the anime, not the manga, which I am sure is loads better. I also apologize if this comes off as too harsh- because I'm sure the people that left the positive reviews have more of a sentimental attachment to the show- but for me it was the worst anime I have ever watched. Lol sorry for the rant I am just appalled.
