From the grousomness of the very first scene to the slow suspenseful moments in the middle, this book will keep readers on the edge of their seats. The mystique that surrounds Verity as a character plays perfectly against the worried and jumpy Lowen, and with Jeremy depicted so irresistible fitting perfectly in the middle of these two powerhouse women, the scenes are perfectly set up for what you expect and delivers what each character deserves.
