Watched with apprehension thinking this would be yet another over-hyped, celebrity-led, issues-in-your-face drama, but I was totally hooked. Beautifully acted with subtlety and sensitivity by Lindsay Duncan, Clarke Peters, Peter Egan, Sue Johnston et al. A few shocks, twists and turns along the way and never less than gripping television. Superb writing, direction and cinematography - bravo to everyone!
