Stumbled onto The Boys and wondered how I’d missed it beforehand; it’s brilliant. Well written, superbly paced, funny, dark and wickedly violent with a delightful parody of the superhero genre with equal appeal to those that like superhero shows and those that don’t. The parodies of established Marvel and DC characters are brilliant as is the contrast of public perceptions of existing superstars, politicians and the mega rich and the manipulations of their public profiles. Can’t wait for Season 3 to hit the airwaves.
