Truly insulting to ANYONE'S intelligence, and especially to those who hold any amount of affection for Scooby Doo and the Mystery, Inc. gang. Thank you, HBO MAX and "Velma" creators, for showing us EXACTLY how NOT to attempt a sad, lifeless reimagining of a beloved classic. MF for MASSIVE FAILURE. Do better, MAX, if you want to continue getting my money.

I was never a huge fan of Nic Cage... Not until "MANDY" that is. It's rare you REALLY feel the heartache and pain of a character. At least deeply, as now so many films have a rushed, CGI drenched feel. This film is incredible. The story in itself would be an amazing novel, but to see this play out onscreen is cinematic bliss. Heartbreaking, anger-provoking, revenge-lusting thriller. That's what "MANDY" is all about. An eye for an eye... OK, SEVERAL eyes.

WOW! Need to feel REALLY good? Need to remember that there ARE good, selfless people out there? Need to remember that sometimes, when it is passionate enough and believes in itself that ONE voice CAN make a HUGE difference? See Miss Virginia. "Feel good" movie? No. Feel GREAT movie. Spectacular cast, especially Uzo Aduba, who you believe in, like and want to see succeed immediately. Great for one person or a family.

One of the most honest, forthright portrayals of life in our community during the glorious 80s and the AIDS crisis ever done. Enough heart, wit and style for many seasons. This is entertainment, but with a lot of love at it's core. Fiercely drawn characters and story lines that draw you in and hold you firmly in place.
