Initially, the game was great, you got to make your own character and the fighting mechanics are nice. My problem started when I got to Erinn. I was still completing the tutorial and it said to deliver a letter to Castanea. Since I was an Elf, I was places in the city of Filia. I spent almost 1.5 hours searching for her in Filia, then I read that it said to go to Connous, which I had no idea what or where it was. I then spent around 30 minutes just traveling to Connous Beach. When I got there, I still couldn't find Castanea. I tried talking to other NPCs there but everyone kept telling me to finish the tutorial. I went from Filia to Connous 3 times and still couldn't find her where she was supposed to be. Then the map was misleading, giving me marks saying to complete the quest in these areas but I went to those areas just to find nothing but useless NPCs that had nothing to do with the tutorial. Lorna kept talking and it wasn't immersive. She kept saying the same things over and over again without any context and it was messing with the already messy UI. I tried to delete my character and they said that it could be recovered until 7 am the next morning. It's almost 8 am where I live and they still didn't delete my character. All in all, they placed me in a city to find someone who basically doesn't exist with no guidance and nothing to do in the mean time and. I really wanted to play this game for a very long time, but now I have and I am extremely dissapointed. The tutorial should NOT be this hard and tiring to complete.
