While it’s certainly interesting to understand the underlying toxic culture that manifested at bridgewater capital, throughout the book you are waiting for an earth shattering scandal that never comes, it’s more of a psychological analysis of ray dalio and how his outlook was projected on to the company, but all told, the hedge fund was still unbelievably successful without any shady business.. it feels like it was repetitive and long and I understood the main punch already at the beginning of the book.
