SPOILERS AHEAD ! A little talky in the beginning, I got used to the pacing and dialogue. Yes, the DNR thread was a bit overdone, but I thought the performances were outstanding. People have complained about wanting backstories t9 the daughters lives, but this movie wasn’t about that. It’s about unresolved issues which always come up in traumatic situations such as this . And to those that didn’t understand how a dying patient could wake up, rip off his tubes and go to the fridge for a beer, IT DIDNT HAPPEN. That was his spirit leaving his body and he said the things he wanted to say before his spirit really crossed over. Check out the editing ! Very touching, heartfelt and real.
