More than being disappointed by Shankar, I'm still puzzled by what made Kamal Hassan agree to this sequel. I genuinely believe Kamal wouldn't have been satisfied with the final product. Additionally, it's not that Sidharth didn't perform well in the emotional scenes; the issue was that the screenplay prioritized delivering information during those moments instead of focusing on the emotions themselves. So, the fault lies with Shankar again.

I would give the movie "Animal" a rating of 4.5 stars. Perhaps my perception differs from most of the netizens. Despite the raw content, explicit scenes, and intense dialogues, the movie excels in overall writing and execution. Personally, I prefer a film with Immoral content but exceptional execution, over a socially relevant movie with poor delivery. When examining Ranbir's character, it portrays the characteristics of an alpha male—assertive and aggressive, yet he is not toxic towards his partner Geethaanjali. Ranbir's level of toxicity doesn't even come close to that of Arjun Reddy. It's possible that the director's interview influenced the audience more than the movie itself.

The cinema experience was centered on a fictional narrative exploring nymphomania as its core subject. The director skillfully crafted an engaging story, gradually unveiling missing pieces throughout. The final 30 minutes were particularly impactful, leaving a lasting impression with its conclusion.

This film will not allow anyone to rank under three stars, because the film itself on the critics, the stars and the film industry. Definetly all movie lovers will love this content and core idea of the movie, but overall it is not a typical psycho path movie, because there isn't enough violence and edge of the seat scenes in it. It was hard for me to convince myself that DQ was a psycho killer. Will be watched once by the general audience, but will be watched in loop by all cricits and movie lovers because its a film for them.
