As an Anne Rice Vampire Chronicles reader, I was skeptical about this series. All that disappeared within 10 minutes of watching. The acting is superb, the costumes and sets are accurate, and the changes made for a television adaptation don't take away from the story, if anything they enhance it. Whether you've read the books or not, I think all vampire lovers will enjoy this series.
