Loved loved loved this. I’m a big fan of the REAL stories not being Disneyfied. A Djinn is not something to be trifled with. A cautionary tale, beautifully told and filmed and created, starring two of my favorite actors. Nothing unnecessary here, a sensational visual that isn’t necessarily as fast paced as we have come to expect. In many ways it is quiet, makes us think, and doesn’t wrap everything up in a neat little “happily ever after” bow. Highly recommend.
