What a fantastic movie! It wasn't "woke" which is one of the reasons I get nervous about taking my kids to the movies. My husband and I agree that DreamWorks is really taking over! I can tell they put a lot of thought into making each movie they make, not super rushed and obsessed with putting out stale movies.
We loved this movie! So hilarious, had me laughing, crying, feeling a little scared (because of the wolf) . I love that they weren't afraid of putting love in the movie, showing appropriate affection in it.
My only "complaint" was the 2 or 3 scenes where a character said a bad word and they beeped it out as part of the movie for joke. I didnt think that was appropriate, I felt like that could've been a little different.
Other than that, I love the positive message of, live your life and appreciate it., the dog was super cute. I want to go watch it again!
